The PeerKnect app facilitates the process of connecting parents with each other, and/or with
therapists, of children with special needs to set up playdates and other social outings such as birthday
parties or other celebrations. Users also receive sensory friendly event notifications from businesses
near them so they families can enjoy experiences such as going to a movie, bowling, restaurants, etc.
Users can post or search for in person or virtual playdates. The app also integrates identity verification
to verify the identity of all users and prevent users who may be on a watch list or use multiple aliases.
